LOLC SAVI recently launched an appreciation and a rewarding programme for the children of the SAVI Card holders, who performed exceptionally well at the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2021. Under this initiative, children of SAVI card holders who surpassed the respective cut-off marks will be rewarded.

SAVI has originated this programme to token both the parents, and students with an appreciation through gratifying them with a gift bundle.

SAVI has partnered with four selected merchants for the cause, MD Gunasena Bookstores, DSI Showrooms, CIB Shopping Centres and ASB Fashion.
To be entitled for the reward scheme, the SAVI cardholders are advised to make the purchases only from the listed merchants. SAVI will reward the eligible cardholders up to the entitled value of the gift for any purchases made through the SAVI Card. At the end of the assigned period, the entitled total purchase value will be reimbursed to the cardholders account by SAVI.

The SAVI cardholders who are entitled for the reward scheme has been sent a notification letter including all the details, terms and conditions. The reimbursement scheme is valid only till the 30th of June 2022.

The card was introduced as a part of LOLC Finance’s overall digitisation strategy, which is in line with the Central Bank’s ‘2020 – Year of Digital Transactions’ plan, to promote and create awareness on digital payments throughout the country.
